Lead Swimming Coach Opportunity

Establish a world-class and comprehensive swimming program for swimmers of all levels, from juniors to national level competitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee training programs for swimmers from junior to state/national level squads.
  • Manage the growth of the squad program and develop strong relationships with swimmers and stakeholders.
  • Compete in regional, state, and national level competitions.
  • Attend club nights and promote joining the Pelican Waters Caloundra Swimming Club.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

">
  • Demonstrated ability to build a successful and sustainable program by working closely with centre management.
  • Experience with building squad programs and club participation with a contemporary approach to athlete development pathways.
  • Leadership and collaboration skills, willingness to engage and mentor junior coaches.
  • Strong communication skills, strategic vision, and prior coaching experience at nationals level is essential.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Coaching accreditation - ASCTA Silver or Higher and Lv1 Strength & Conditioning.
  • Current Blue Card.
  • Current CPR and Lifeguard certification.
  • Willingsness to undergo a National Police Check.
