Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of client-side projects, with a focus on government projects in the North Queensland region.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project management methodologies and be able to apply them effectively to manage project scope, schedule, and budget.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver client-side projects, with a focus on government projects in the North Queensland region.
  • Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
  • Apply appropriate delivery methodologies and manage project scope, schedule, and budget where applicable.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Construction, Property, Engineering, or similar.
  • Experience in the construction space and a transition to client-side projects with a professional mindset.
  • Strong understanding and experience with delivery methodologies, in particular Head Contract, Managing Contractor and Design and Construct.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a timely manner.
  • Proactive and able to think strategically.
  • Australian Citizen and able to obtain/maintain a minimum Baseline Security Clearance.
  • Experience in client-side Project Management in the mentioned industries and familiarity with government procurement rules (preferable, but not essential).
  • AIPM Accreditation or equivalent would be advantageous.
