About the Role
We're seeking a Product Design Manager to lead our Exchange division design team. You'll shape the design direction across multiple products within web and mobile apps, support product designers, collaborate with product managers, and foster a positive environment for high-quality design.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead designers through collaboration, feedback, and direction.
- Create designs for product and feature directions, and communicate ideas or provide additional support.
- Collaborate with product managers to establish timelines, delivery, and priorities.
- Guide, coach, and protect designers, creating a positive design environment.
- Establish and maintain an ideal design process for your team.
- Share expertise and knowledge in design to train other designers.
- Run user research activities, including interviews, focus groups, or usability tests.
- Work with the executive team to understand and apply big picture vision and direction.
- Present and communicate design direction, decisions, and rationale to other teams.
- Actively use and trade on the exchange, calling out design and product issues to the team.
- 2+ years experience working at a top-tier trading team.
- Must have extraordinary knowledge of design as a craft and contribute a deep skillset to the team.
- Extensive experience designing B2C digital products/services for international audiences.
- A solid portfolio of work containing examples of design for digital products and services.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design and user experience principles, and strong creative vision for planning design roadmaps.
- Ability to oversee and manage multiple projects, shipping quality products at scale.
- Experience developing and coaching a design team.
- A portfolio must be provided to be considered.
