We're seeking a kind-hearted volunteer to visit an elderly lady who's feeling lonely and would like to meet a fellow plant or sewing enthusiast. Your time and company could make a world of difference. A friendly visit, a shared story, or a chat over a cuppa could truly lift her spirits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Visit the client on a regular basis, either weekly or fortnightly, for approximately 1 hour
  • Engage in activities such as chatting, walking, gardening, or sewing with the client
  • Provide companionship and support to the client, helping to improve their quality of life

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a good chat, a walk, or time in the garden or sewing room. You'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of our client and gain a sense of personal fulfillment.

As a social visitor, you'll be part of a team that's passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We're an independent charity that supports people to live in their homes and maintain their independence.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and patience. They should be comfortable engaging in conversation and willing to adapt to the client's interests and needs.
