Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate Primero HSE procedures and legislative requirements on site, in accordance with project-specific HSE Management Plans.
  • Conduct daily HSE inspections and observations on site.
  • Deliver HSE topics in weekly toolbox and daily prestart sessions.
  • Assist with fitness for work requirements and daily welfare checks.
  • Coach and guide HSRs in their legislative HSE requirements.
  • Support employees in creating risk assessments (JHAs, Permits).
  • Maintain HSE notice boards.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Work, Health, and Safety (minimum requirement).
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in the construction industry.
  • Demonstrated site experience in a similar role.
  • Current Provide First Aid/CPR certificate.
  • Experienced with Incident Investigation Training (ICAM/Tap Root).
  • OHS Construction Induction White/Blue Card.
  • Demonstrate the Right to Work in Australia.
  • Pass a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug and Alcohol Screen.
