Medical Officer Primary Care

We are seeking a qualified healthcare professional to join our team as a Visiting Medical Officer - Primary Care.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Current medical registration with AHPRA
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practice (FRACGP) or Australasian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM)
  • Proof of recognition as a specialist by the Specialists Recognition Advisory Committee Award
  • Demonstrated significant experience in General Practice with knowledge of contemporary clinical management and modern approaches in assessment and management of acute and chronic medical conditions

This role involves providing general medical services to patients within correctional environments in Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network facilities. The position will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to enhance existing services in line with organisational needs and best practice.
