We are seeking a highly skilled Airworthiness Engineer to join our team at Boeing Defence Australia. As an Airworthiness Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the airworthiness of our aircraft and their components, working closely with our design and certification teams to develop and implement comprehensive certification programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement certification programs for aircraft and their components, ensuring compliance with civil and military regulatory frameworks.
  • Conduct certification activities, including design and development of structural modifications, component qualification, and mechanical systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective integration of systems within complex engineering projects.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of civil and military airworthiness codes, as well as system safety interactions with certification programs.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure the airworthiness of our aircraft and their components.
Requirements
  • Tertiary degree in a relevant field, such as aerospace engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience working in airworthiness/certification or design of aircraft and their components/systems.
  • Strong understanding of civil and military regulatory frameworks, including CASA, EASA, FAA, and DASA.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence outcomes in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
