GIS Coordinator

Council is seeking a highly skilled GIS & Asset Management Coordinator to join their team. As a key member of the Corporate and Community Services department, you will be responsible for managing the development, maintenance, and integration of GIS and Asset Management systems with current IT systems.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of lifecycle construction, maintenance, and servicing activities for various assets, including traffic, stormwater, floodplain, open space, and recreational facilities. They will also be responsible for investigating and reporting on Asset Management performance, formulating methods to automate and standardize the provision of information to customers using GIS, and creating custom tools and applications for streamlined management, storage, analysis, and reporting of Council's GIS data.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, the ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and the capability to review and streamline practices. They will also have proficiency in developing and maintaining GIS and Asset Management Systems, as well as experience in managing consultants, asset condition inspections, and corporate spatial information services applications.
