Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to support the clinical team in our operating theatres. This role is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a highly skilled and dedicated team.

About the Role

  • Support the clinical team in promoting the smooth running of surgical services
  • Provide assistance throughout the health service according to need, including general duties in wards, cleaning and portering for patient transfers or equipment
  • Work effectively as a member of a team, supporting others and taking directions from supervisors or other staff as appropriate
  • Use a computer with skills to use a web-based ordering system

Requirements

  • Previous experience in one or more areas of this role, working with people in a care setting, undertaking cleaning duties or providing general assistance in a health or aged care setting
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, completing set tasks effectively with minimal direct supervision
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to relate well and communicate respectfully to line management, colleagues and members of the public
