Casual Disability Support Workers - Ivanhoe VIC

We are seeking dedicated support workers to provide assistance to clients with disabilities in our SIL accommodation in Ivanhoe. This role involves working 1:1 with clients during evening hours from 5 PM to 8 PM.

Role Overview:

This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in the lives of clients with disabilities, providing support with daily living skills and promoting their independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting clients with personal care and medication administration
  • Providing community access and support with meal preparation and domestic chores
  • Developing strategies to promote positive outcomes and supporting clients with challenging behaviors
  • Collaborating with the team to achieve client goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1+ years experience in disability or community services
  • Certificate III or above in Disability Support or similar
  • Valid Victorian Driver's License, NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid Certificate, CPR, and National Police Check (obtained within last 6 months)
  • Availability to work evenings and flexibility to take on permanent shifts
