About the Opportunity

The Integration Engineer role is part of a small team of platform engineers dedicated to building and maintaining multiple growing platforms and other cloud-based services. The position involves significant opportunity to research and incorporate new technologies with a focus on cloud-based infrastructure, driving platform evolution and enabling self-service for users. Collaboration with various software development teams is key, assisting them to onboard new projects, CI/CD pipelines, and build, update, and maintain software applications managed by the API & Integration team.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of secure and reliable API and Integration platforms.
  • Strong understanding of organisational, software, and hardware implementation blueprints and technical documents.
  • Excellent communication skills for explaining complex implementation processes to stakeholders.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines.
  • Participate in cloud migration work, support, and further develop Azure platform and Web Apps.
  • Provide ongoing support for the CI/CD Toolset, participate in troubleshooting application performance issues, and assist development teams by identifying root causes or bottlenecks.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Automate the provisioning and configuration of infrastructure and platform resources to support the delivery and management of environments in a repeatable and reliable manner.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to mentor and coach new team members as required.
  • Effective management of time and workload.
Experience and Requirements
  • Proven IT infrastructure experience with Terraform and Azure.
  • Excellent application development experience with .NET.
  • Demonstrated experience in DevOps methodologies, cloud architecture, automation, and CI/CD Pipelines.
  • Ability to plan, manage, and deliver projects and work tasks to time, quality, and cost standards.
  • Effective development and management of varied client and stakeholder relationships and expectations, with a focus on exceptional customer service.

  • Strong track record working in an agile, multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • The ability to simplify complex subject areas.
  • API security, standards, best practices, and API lifecycle knowledge.
