Job Opportunity

  • We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Project Engineer with a mechanical engineering background.
  • The position is hands-on within our site-based construction team.
  • This role offers the opportunity to work at one of Australia's largest gold-producing sites.
  • Strong focus on mechanical and structural disciplines.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering discipline.
  • 5+ years of client-side experience in mining and mineral processing projects.
  • Experience with conveyors, hoisting, headframe structures, and shafts is favorable.
  • Excellent project planning, contractor management, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure construction compliance with design intent.
  • Manage technical queries and field changes.
  • Oversee contractor performance and quality.
  • Develop and approve construction methodologies.
  • Provide technical resolution of design and construction issues.
  • Review and approve documentation.
  • Proactively manage stakeholders and communicate to foster collaborative relationships.
