About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Fashion Buyer Women's Sport to join our Lifestyle team. As a key member of our Commercial team, you will work collaboratively with our Buyers to source the best and latest products from top brands.

Your primary responsibility will be to assist our Sportwear Buyers with daily tasks, including trade analysis, vendor management, and product lifecycle management. You will also be responsible for building strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining accurate records.

To succeed in this role, you must have advanced Excel skills, excellent communication skills, and a passion for fashion and retail. You should also be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Sportwear Buyers with Monday morning trade analysis and commentary
  • Support Buyers with chasing in trade opportunities, recuts, color ups, and SMUs
  • Manage SKU lifecycle and re-coding
  • Hold suppliers accountable for delivery failures
  • Review best and worst product reports and provide key findings to Buyers
  • Run vendor performance reports for showings and internal meetings
  • Assist Buyers with SWOT analysis and attend showings on request
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and ensure timely deliveries
  • Manage trading terms matrix and ensure accuracy
