We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Maintenance Team Member to join our team. As a key member of our open space maintenance crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the upkeep of our parks and reserves.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks for parks and open space infrastructure.
  • Respond to emergency calls and undertake repairs as required.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to work activities.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents and visitors.

Requirements:

  • TAFE qualification or significant relevant experience in landscaping/construction industry or similar field.
  • Demonstrated understanding of service delivery requirements in parks, sports fields, and foreshore areas or similar environment.
  • Computer literacy and ability to use computer-based systems.
  • AQF 3 – Chemical certification or willingness to obtain within three months.
  • Chainsaw Competency Certification or willingness to obtain within three months.
  • Class C (minimum) NSW Drivers licence with a willingness to obtain LR/MR.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also being part of a team environment and multi-skilling.
  • Well-organized and good level of physical ability to carry out all duties safely.
  • Strong focus on Workplace Health and Safety.
  • Skills and knowledge in minor plant and equipment.
  • Demonstrated skills & experience in manual handling.
