About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced product and privacy lawyer to join our team at Linktree. As a key member of our Legal Team, you will play a critical role in advising on cutting-edge legal issues and ensuring our products and services comply with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice on product and privacy laws, including GDPR and CCPA;
  • Review and advise on new products and services to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations;
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including MSAs, NDAs, and licensing agreements;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Linktree's business growth and development;
  • Assist in resolving disputes and escalations with customers and stakeholders;
  • Provide real-time advice to various teams and squads across Linktree.
Requirements
  • Qualified to practice law in Australia, with additional jurisdictions (UK, USA) highly beneficial;
  • At least 8 years of strong experience in product and privacy law, with a focus on consumer law;
  • Ability to overlap some working hours with the United States west coast (Pacific Standard Time);
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously;
  • Strong business acumen and ability to weigh risks and come at problems from a commercial angle;
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to make complex concepts simple;
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, fast-paced culture, and practical, solutions-oriented focus.
