About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our KinCare team in the Kogarah area. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure our customers' homes are safe and comfortable.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, ensuring our customers have access to nutritious food.
  • Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, helping our customers stay connected and engaged.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, to support our customers' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families.
  • Transport customers to appointments and provide complex care for those with high care needs, such as dementia.

Requirements
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle.
  • Availability to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Ability to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems.
  • Comfortable working with older adults and providing emotional support.
