Product Assistant

This business is expanding, with new offices and an increasing team. Despite this growth, the company retains its fantastic culture and ambitions for great honest products and service.

The Product Assistant will support the Category Manager in managing processes for all product builds. This includes liaising with suppliers, managing timelines, and coordinating product flow.

The ideal candidate will have industry experience in retail and wholesale, strong administration skills, and excellent attention to detail. They should also be able to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Category Manager with end-to-end management of processes for all product builds
  • Liaising with suppliers on product details, samples, pricing issues, and production timelines
  • Managing and following up with suppliers to ensure they meet production timeline targets
  • Engaging with relevant business stakeholders to coordinate product and information flow
  • Administration support such as compiling factory quotations and competitor price checks
  • Assisting the Category Manager with range review implementation and preparation

Requirements:

  • Industry experience in retail and wholesale essential
  • Overseas supplier liaison experience (2-5 years)
  • Strong administration skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Strong customer focus with a professional approach
  • Good planning and time management skills
  • Microsoft Office skills in Outlook, Work, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Confident using software programs
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and other key stakeholders
