- Manage the development and implementation of specific platform features, from ideation to delivery.
- Identify opportunities to carve out core product functionalities into platform services that can be shared across product lines.
- Prioritize platform deliverables against competing high-value features, clearly understanding tradeoffs.
- Utilize data-driven insights to decide when, what, and how to deliver appropriate product scope.
- Communicate and present ideas to senior executives, as well as work with cross-functional teams to define integration end-points / APIs for platform services.
- Establish a shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to platform development and adoption across product lines.
- Support a team of world-class architects, engineers, and product owners throughout the product lifecycle.
- Define, analyze, and report on metrics that determine the success of platforms.
- Typically 12+ years of experience, with 7+ years in core product management functions managing product development life cycles and leadership experience in an international environment.
- Demonstrated experience with complex, transformational roadmap initiatives driving towards Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to define integration end-points / APIs that impact multiple products/teams.
- Experience developing and managing large migration strategies, preferably from legacy architecture products to SOA, cloud-hosted tech stacks.
- Experience delivering high-quality technology products/services in a fast-moving environment where priorities and structures shift rapidly.
- Success working in an agile environment.
- High level of intellectual curiosity, with the ability to ask great questions and seek supporting data to interpret the most important needs of the product.
- Excellent organizational and quantitative analytical skills.
- Technical depth that enables you to understand and earn the respect of the engineers you work with.
- Ability to break down long-term vision into specific, manageable deliverables that deliver user value as quickly as possible.
- Ability to think strategically, with the capacity to expand customer use cases into platform-wide requirements.
- Demonstrated success in working with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills, regardless of the audience.
