Perioperative Anaesthetic Nurse Role

We are seeking an experienced Perioperative Anaesthetic Nurse to join our team in a dynamic and challenging role.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to adult & paediatrics patients undergoing planned & unplanned procedures &/or surgery in our state-of-the-art Interventional Suite.
The suite comprises 14 operating theatres, including a hybrid theatre & a cardiothoracic theatre; 2 Cardiac Catheter Labs; 4 Procedure Rooms; 41 bed Recovery Unit; Anaesthetics Service and Sterilising Services Department.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care and outcomes.
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care
- Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to achieve best practice outcomes
- Ensure patient and staff safety through effective risk management strategies
- Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members, Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs), to deliver patient care
- Develop and implement education programs to support individuals/patients in managing their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
