Equipment Maintenance Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Equipment Maintenance Assistant to join our team. As an essential member of our operations, you will play a key role in maintaining the organization and efficiency of our yard area.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading equipment from trucks, adhering to safe procedures at all times. You will also perform general yard duties to ensure a tidy and organized workspace, as well as maintain equipment and plant to high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and removing portable buildings from trucks, adopting safe loading and unloading procedures
  • Maintaining a clean and organized yard, ensuring efficient workflow
  • Cleaning and maintaining equipment and plant, including other general cleaning duties as required
  • Ensuring truck and driver compliance with relevant regulations
  • Maintaining knowledge of equipment storage and location to facilitate efficient retrieval
  • Providing support to the workshop team as needed
  • Promoting a safety-first culture, emphasizing zero harm

Your Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this position, you should possess a current forklift license and have experience in a similar role. Additionally, having a Dogman ticket is advantageous but not critical. A flexible approach and a 'can-do' attitude are essential for success in this dynamic environment.
