We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Carbon Group. As a key member of our accounting team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, communicating with them daily, and applying your skills and experience to solve their problems and elevate their business.



Our ideal candidate will have varied accounting experience, strong communication and time management skills, and the ability to work in a team and autonomously. They will also have a tertiary accounting qualification, completed or completing CA/CPA, and experience in the preparation of Financial Statements and tax returns.

Key responsibilities of the role include client management and liaison, preparing financial statements and tax returns, creating and advising on various trading structures, and liaising with the ATO. Key Requirements:



  • Between 3-5 years experience in Australian tax and business services
  • Tertiary accounting qualification
  • Completed or completing CA/CPA
  • Experience in the preparation of Financial Statements and tax returns
  • Experience working directly with clients highly desirable
  • Excellent knowledge of Australian taxation legislation
  • Experience with Xero/MYOB and the Microsoft Office suite
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work in a team and autonomously
  • Energetic and enthusiastic with a positive outlook
