Highly Skilled Veterinary Nurse Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ECC Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Greencross Vets.
As an ECC Veterinary Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate care to animals in emergency and critical care situations. You will work closely with our experienced veterinary team to provide exceptional patient care and support to pet owners during times of crisis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing emergency and critical care to animals, including stabilizing patients, administering medications, and monitoring vital signs.
- Collaborating with veterinarians and other nursing staff to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
- Communicating effectively with pet owners, ensuring they are informed and supported throughout the treatment process.
- Participating in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and best practices in ECC nursing.
Essential Qualifications:
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in IV catheter placement, blood sampling, and anesthesia monitoring advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
- A genuine passion for providing exceptional care to animals and their owners.
