POSITION SUMMARY
The Production Associate operates machinery and production tools while adhering to quality and efficiency standards in a manufacturing setting with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE): Take immediate action to halt work and report any significant injury risks. Document any work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards. Follow HSE guidelines, policies, and regulations. Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment. Foster a culture of safety by looking out for colleagues. Address hazards within your control. Understand the environmental impact of your work and strive to reduce negative effects. Participate in HSE training.
Quality Assurance: Adhere to all relevant standard operating procedures, process documentation, and quality protocols, including Statistical Process Control (SPC), poka-yoke, and visual standards. Identify and escalate issues to mitigate cost and quality risks. Conduct quality inspections and manage non-conforming materials.
Production Delivery: Operate both manual and automated machinery to manufacture and assemble products that meet customer specifications. Exhibit a high level of proficiency in essential job skills. Meet production targets and adhere to required cycle times or defined engineering standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including routine cleaning and maintenance tasks. Remain adaptable and perform additional duties as necessary to achieve production objectives. Collaborate with peers and technical staff to identify and address equipment repair needs.
Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and support personnel. Engage in training and personal development aligned with business needs. Actively contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing quality, safety, process efficiency, material flow, and employee growth.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent educational experience is required. Relevant work experience or intermediate knowledge gained through education, training, or hands-on experience is necessary. Mechanical experience is preferred.
