Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Rehabilitation Consultant to join our dynamic team. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will be responsible for advocating for people who feel disempowered to advocate for their own recovery and health, delivering counselling to people who are grappling with a sudden change in their career goals and circumstances, conducting assessments to help guide people toward their new career, and working with treatment providers to ensure the best recovery outcomes for your clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advocate for people who feel disempowered to advocate for their own recovery and health
  • Deliver counselling to people who are grappling with a sudden change in their career goals and circumstances
  • Conduct assessments to help guide people toward their new career
  • Work with treatment providers to ensure the best recovery outcomes for your clients
  • Develop graduated return plans by liaising with doctors regarding appropriate timeframes and goals
  • Case manage complex psychological issues and liaise with treating health professionals
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Rehab Counselling and full registration with ASORC
