The Role
This exciting opportunity exists within our Building Engineering Services Group in Sydney. The successful candidate will work closely with our skilled team members, gaining hands-on experience through on-the-job training. You will contribute to the development of your career, build relationships with colleagues across our global organisation, and gain exposure to various markets, primarily focusing on the Mission Critical sector.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing discipline models, under the guidance of engineers and technical professionals.
- Collaborating with project teams to ensure accurate modelling of BIM elements within spatial constraints and project-specific parameters.
- Preparing detailed drawings, layouts, diagrams and documentation based on project requirements.
- Maintaining discipline models, ensuring compliance with ISO 19650 standards and relevant information management protocols.
- Utilising computational design tools, such as Dynamo and Grasshopper, to automate repetitive tasks and enhance workflows.
- Performing clash detection and coordination using software like Navisworks or similar.
- Contributing to interdisciplinary coordination and project delivery within a Common Data Environment (e.g., BIM 360 or similar).
About You
You will thrive in this role if you possess a strong interest in building engineering services, basic knowledge of engineering or architectural concepts, and a passion for BIM and Digital Design.
