Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled HSE Advisor to join our team at Design & Build, a leading Luxury Builder. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, clients, and stakeholders.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement effective WHS processes to ensure a safe working environment
  • Coordinate and manage safety-related tasks to minimize risks and ensure compliance
  • Provide expert advice and support to site teams on health, safety, and environmental matters
  • Ensure safety documentation is up-to-date and compliant with relevant regulations
  • Conduct pre-starts, inductions, and site walks to identify potential hazards and ensure a safe working environment
  • Identify and assess risks to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards
  • Conduct health and safety audits and workplace inspections to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills in health, safety, and environmental matters

About You:

  • Minimum Cert IV in WHS or equivalent qualification
  • 5+ years of HSE experience in commercial construction, with a focus on high-rise projects valued at $50M+
  • Proven experience working for a head contractor in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of current legislation, regulations, and building codes relevant to the construction industry
