Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Early Childhood Support Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide hands-on support to Additional Assistants in kindergartens across Melbourne, helping them develop the skills they need to succeed in their roles.

You will also lead sessions to build collaboration, learning, and professional growth among kindergarten staff, and offer guidance by phone and email as needed.

The successful candidate will have experience working with children and mentoring skills, as well as strong communication and supervisory abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on support to Additional Assistants in kindergartens
  • Lead sessions to build collaboration, learning, and professional growth among kindergarten staff

  • Work closely with kindergarten staff to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting children with diverse needs
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working in various kindergarten settings
  • Mentoring skills and ability to bring out the best in others
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Strong communication and supervisory skills
