This exciting opportunity is available for a finance professional looking to take ownership of a business unit's financial performance while working closely with senior decision-makers.

About the Role:

You will work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure financial transparency, manage budgets, and enhance cost-effectiveness across core business operations. Leading a small team, you will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to support the company's long-term financial health.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis and performance metrics, to senior leadership. Identify trends and provide actionable insights to improve profitability and efficiency.
  2. Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Provide in-depth analysis across various metrics to support key strategic decisions.
  3. Collaborate with senior I.T stakeholders to provide financial guidance on key initiatives, investment opportunities, and operational efficiencies. Act as a trusted advisor to support commercial decision-making.
  4. Drive cost control initiatives by monitoring expenses, identifying areas for savings, and implementing financial best practices. Ensure transparency in cost allocation across business units.
  5. Manage, mentor, and develop a direct report, fostering a high-performance finance function. Delegate tasks effectively and encourage professional growth.
  6. Lead initiatives to enhance financial processes, reporting tools, and internal controls. Ensure adherence to accounting standards, corporate policies, and risk management frameworks.
