Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a skilled and qualified Early Childhood Educator to lead our Kindergarten program at our Portland site.

As an Early Childhood Educator, you will be responsible for creating an environment that reflects a safe, inclusive, responsive and supportive program where the interests and needs of children are the foundation for developing educational programs.

Strong knowledge of contemporary early childhood practice, provision of high-quality programs, and continuous quality improvement are hallmarks of this position.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent as approved by ACECQA) – essential.
  • First aid training as prescribed in the Education and Care Services National Regulations, including first aid, anaphylaxis management and emergency asthma management.
  • Extensive experience in a Kindergarten and/or other early childhood service providing high-quality care and education services for children.
  • Experience in a leadership role in a Kindergarten and/or other early childhood setting.
  • A sound knowledge and understanding of early childhood learning and development.

In addition to receiving a salary and superannuation, you'll also receive 17.5% leave loading and an ability to increase your take-home pay by accessing up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits.
