About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Field Representative to join our Retail Select Team and provide exceptional service to Bunnings stores in the Bundaberg regional area. As a key ambassador for our business, you'll work closely with our products across Dulux, Selleys, Yates, and Cabots to drive growth and success in the marketplace.

Your primary focus will be on delivering in-store visual merchandising services aligned with our service level agreements. You'll also support, train, and deliver in-store projects, building strong relationships with both Bunnings and DuluxGroup teams.

This autonomous role offers a unique opportunity to enable our sales teams to execute their roles, support in-store strategies, and provide an exceptional shopping experience for our consumers. You'll also have the chance to understand our marketing fundamentals from the ground up.

We offer flexibility, comprehensive training, and development opportunities. In return, we're looking for someone who embodies a passion for providing excellent customer service, is eager to learn and grow, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

This casual role requires a flexible schedule, including weekends, with approximately 7-10 hours per week. There may be opportunities for additional hours across different business areas in the DuluxGroup, and you'll assist with holiday and sick leave cover when needed.

Please note that this position may involve physically demanding tasks from time to time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain key customer relationships
  • Order, merchandise, and stock products, including manual handling
  • Maintain in-store displays and ensure products are priced and ticketed correctly
  • Assist with major planogram initiatives

Requirements
  • Previous sales and merchandising experience in retail and hardware (desirable but not essential)
  • Self-motivated with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Hold a valid driver's license and have your own vehicle
  • Sound computer skills
  • Strong time management, prioritisation skills, and own initiative
