Job Overview

The University Library seeks a dynamic and innovative individual to lead the planning and development of services that align with its strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance library services, promoting a client-focused approach that meets the evolving needs of students and staff.
  • Lead a team delivering high-quality services, including inquiry, reference, and student IT support, as well as library spaces and physical collections management.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, driving collaboration and mutual understanding to achieve shared goals.
Selection Criteria
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency; a qualification in library and information studies is highly desirable.
  • Substantial management experience in an academic library, with a proven track record of successful service improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated expertise in innovative library and information services, including knowledge of learning support programs and project management principles.
