Healthscope is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our esteemed Recovery Unit. This role is ideal for individuals who possess strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Employment Type:
Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based nursing care to patients.
- Collaborate effectively with the multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
- Prioritize the safety of patients and staff.
- Guide and supervise nursing team members, including Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs).
- Offer education and support to patients regarding their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life care.
Essential Qualifications:
- Current registration with AHPRA.
- Working with children's check.
- Post Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing (or in progress).
- Strong commitment to delivering quality patient care.
- Adherence to ACQSHC National standards.
- Proficient clinical decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Basic computer proficiency.
