Job Summary

Kids First is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Leader to support the establishment of the Caring Dads program in new communities. The successful candidate will lead from the front, facilitating support and training for Kids First, and share their expertise in and advocate for the provision of supervision and reflective practice for Clinical facilitators and trainers.

About the Role

The Clinical Leader will work alongside the program manager and new providers to establish pathways via community stakeholder engagement, maintaining program fidelity. This role requires a high level of experience and skills in training and clinical supervision, as well as a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in client engagement and working therapeutically with affected family members, where there is a history of trauma.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of clinical supervision and training programs for Clinical facilitators and trainers.
  • Provide support and guidance to new providers of the Caring Dads program, via clinical observation and clinical review.
  • Work with the program manager to establish pathways for community stakeholder engagement and maintain program fidelity.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the Caring Dads program.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide clinical supervision and facilitate clinical review and performance management processes.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Social Work or related field.
  • Eligibility for membership with relevant professional body.
  • Caring Dads facilitation accreditation.
  • Caring Dads facilitation trainer accreditation.
  • High level of experience and skills in training and clinical supervision.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in client engagement and working therapeutically with affected family members, where there is a history of trauma.
