We are a leading market maker seeking recent and upcoming graduates as Software Developers in Sydney. Our company combines cutting-edge technology with collaboration between technologists and traders, making us successful in the trading industry.

As a Graduate Software Developer, you'll work with experienced engineers on the development, delivery, support, and enhancements of our trading systems and infrastructure. This role will provide you with hands-on experience from your first day.

Your Potential Projects:

  • Developing low-latency trading systems for our trading desks using object-oriented languages like C++ and C#
  • Creating applications and services that receive and store trading activity, while working on high-performance code
  • Conducting research projects related to scale and performance with open-source tools
  • Designing tools to improve system efficiency using performance data

With guidance and mentoring from your team, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to our dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar major, with a distinction average WAM from an Australian or New Zealand University
  • Strong software development skills in any object-oriented language, particularly C++ and C#
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify problems and suggest solutions
  • Ability to collaborate with a team while having confidence to work independently
  • Flexible and driven, with a commitment to innovation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
