This casual on-call position is an integral part of our team, requiring flexibility and adaptability to work with various age groups and room routines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement a high-quality education program that reflects the diverse nature of our centre and community.
- Promote the health and safety of all staff and children, adhering to the National Quality Standards.
- Build positive relationships with stakeholders, including families, children, and educators.
- Contribute to the effective management of the service, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality care.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and ability to develop a high-quality educational program.
- Understanding of the developmental needs of children aged 0-5, including those with additional needs.
- Knowledge of the National Quality Standards, the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010, and the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011.
- Demonstrated experience in the education and care of children aged 0-5.
- Ability to establish warm, nurturing, and responsive relationships with children and families.
- Developing interpersonal and communication skills with both children and adults.
- Ability to work cooperatively and flexibly within a team environment.
- Knowledge of child protection procedures.
- Developing organizational skills.
- Demonstrated experience building partnerships with families.
- Knowledge of the local community and current issues in the childcare and education sector.
