We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Geoscientist to join our team at AECOM. As an Environmental Geoscientist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our clients and their projects.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee project-level health and safety protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct desktop reviews and prepare environmental reports to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Manage safety and environmental compliance on-site, including coordinating with subcontractors and ensuring site documentation is up-to-date.
- Plan, schedule, and manage site works, including hydrogeological investigations and environmental sampling.
- Collect and manage environmental samples, perform data analysis, and interpret results using industry-standard tools.
- Act as Site Manager, ensuring safety protocols are followed and maintaining site documentation.
- Assist in project management tasks, including project controls and financial tracking.
- Prepare technical reports and manage deliverables.
- Tertiary qualification in environmental science, geoscience, geology, engineering, or hydrogeology.
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in contaminated land management and/or hydrogeology, with a focus on safety and subcontractor management.
- Strong skills in data management using industry-standard tools and project/proposal management.
- Willingness to work remotely on client sites; a valid driver's license is essential.
