About the Role:

We are looking for someone who shares our passion for delivering high-quality care and services to our customers. As a Home Care Worker, your duties will include domestic assistance, helping with meal preparation and shopping, providing social support and transport, and personal care including getting customers up, showered, and dressed for the day.

Responsibilities:

  • Domestic Assistance: Cleaning the home of older people so they have a safe and beautiful place to live
  • Helping customers with meal preparation and shopping
  • Providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities
  • Personal care including getting customers up, showered, and dressed for the day
  • Medication management, assisting with mobility and therapy goals
  • Providing respite and emotional support
  • Social support and transport to appointments
  • Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia

Requirements:

  • Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support, Disability or Nursing
  • Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role, including experience with personal care, manual handling, hoist training, and medications
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle – travel is part of the role
