About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hydraulic Fitter to join our team at RCR Mining Technologies in Bunbury. As a Hydraulic Fitter, you will play a crucial role in providing efficient and professional hydraulic fitting services to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hydraulic components and systems in mining technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Hydraulic Hoses, Tubes, Valves, and Pump overhauls with precision and attention to detail.
  • Assemble hydraulic systems to OEM tolerances and specifications, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Operate and maintain all workshop equipment within your skill set, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Review drawings, instructions, blueprints, or samples to ensure accurate production and meet customer expectations.
  • Provide feedback and input on opportunities for improvement, such as tooling, processes, and working environment.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy workspace, ensuring all machines and equipment are properly stored and secured.
  • Oversee, guide, and assist apprentices and trades assistants in their development and training.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Australian recognised Trade Certificate in Hydraulic Fitting or a related field.
  • Current Driver's Licence, allowing you to travel safely and efficiently.
  • Work at Heights Certificate, ensuring safe access to elevated areas.
  • Confined Space Certificate, enabling you to work safely in confined spaces.
  • Dogging/Rigging (preferred but not essential), demonstrating your ability to handle heavy loads and equipment.
  • Forklift Ticket (preferred but not essential), showcasing your proficiency in operating heavy machinery.
  • Fitness to handle manual labour and provide a clear drug and alcohol screening, ensuring a healthy and safe working environment.
  • A solid commitment to safety, along with a genuine reliable nature, reflecting your values and work ethic.
