Electrifying Future: Large-Scale Infrastructure Project Specialist

PHE Engineering is hiring an experienced Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join the Snowy 2.0 expansion, one of Australia's largest and most iconic infrastructure projects.

The role involves overseeing electrical engineering design and implementation, supporting the build of a 27km underground tunnel, HV reticulation systems, and a new underground hydroelectric power station.

• Lead the design and implementation of HV/LV electrical reticulation systems and construction power infrastructure
• Work closely with project leads to deliver engineering milestones across multiple stages
• Use AutoCAD, PowerCAD or ETAP to produce and review electrical designs
• Oversee temporary power systems, manage completion systems, and interface with site contractors
• Apply engineering and construction knowledge to dynamically solve problems faced during construction
• Report to the Engineering Manager and interface with clients' construction and commissioning teams

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory)
• RPEQ registered or eligible (preferred)
• Practical site knowledge of HV/LV systems, temporary/construction power
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects ($5M–$10M+)
• Completion system experience (e.g., PIMS, HEXAGON equivalent) highly desirable
• Trade background (e.g., Electrician) is a plus but not essential
• Strong commitment to project delivery, collaboration, and problem-solving
