Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Facilities Service Officer.

The successful candidate will provide an excellent customer experience to patrons of our facilities, ensuring that council staff and external customers receive satisfaction when using our services.

This role involves setting up and dismantling meeting rooms and functions, including tables and chairs, audio-visual equipment and coffee stations. You will also be responsible for ensuring equipment is functional and adhering to health and safety guidelines.

As part of this role, you will liaise with the public, event organisers, external users and council staff, providing thoughtful and responsive service to meet their needs.

In the event of an emergency, you will act as the Fire Warden and help coordinate our Emergency Management Plan.

This position may require you to work during weekends and evening hours, and across several facilities within the municipality as and when needed.
