About the Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Legal Support Team Member to join our Adelaide Office and National practice.

As a key member of our high-performing legal support team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support, ensuring seamless operations, and exceptional service delivery.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing secretarial support covering leave and peak periods (on-site support and remote support to practice groups across our offices).
  • Editing, drafting, and preparing PowerPoint presentations, correspondence, and legal documents.
  • Managing finance requirements, including client invoicing, processing supplier invoices, arranging trust payments, etc.
  • File management, including opening, closing, and archiving matter files, conflict checking, fee agreements, etc.
  • General administrative tasks, including printing, scanning, electronic and hard copy filing, mail, etc.
  • Backup Reception to assist with leave cover.
  • Assisting with Office Events and general office support.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • An associate degree or equivalent experience in administration or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a law firm setting.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of finance software, such as Elite 3E, is an asset.
