Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Defence Fuel Operator to join our team at the Amberley RAAF Base in Brisbane, QLD.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the safe and compliant operation and management of aviation and/or ground fuel installations, ensuring quality, compliance, quantity, and availability of fuel and related systems.

  • This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Australian Defence environment and support national security requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

As a Defence Fuel Operator, you will be reporting to the Operating Agent and be responsible for:

  • Safely operating and managing fuel installations
  • Ensuring quality control sampling and testing of fuel
  • Managing quantity and availability of fuel and related systems
  • Complying with relevant regulations and standards
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Defence-specific training (which will be provided where required)
  • A valid driver's licence (HR or HC will be highly regarded)
  • Strong safety awareness and a commitment to safety
  • Current Defence Security Clearance or ability to obtain it
  • Ability to live locally or relocate to the Brisbane area
