Job Opportunity

The Faculty Research Engagement Associate role plays a pivotal part in supporting the Faculty Research Engagement Team in driving projects and implementing activities that enhance research funding from various sources.

This involves identifying and facilitating specific funding opportunities for faculty researchers and research teams to create high-quality proposals. The successful candidate will contribute to the work and projects undertaken by the Faculty Research Engagement team, focusing on generating increased research funding from industry, government, and grant funding bodies.

Additionally, this role requires working on case management of projects within the research portfolio and providing suggestions to enable the Faculty and institutes to meet their research funding and engagement targets.

Apart from this, the successful candidate should possess well-developed interpersonal, comprehension, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as problem-solving skills and the ability to work as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have excellent networking skills and be able to adapt quickly to new circumstances.

Experience of working with diverse teams, stakeholders, and individuals is highly desirable, along with knowledge of the Australian Higher Education environment and processes.
