Support Worker Opportunity

The role of a support worker is multifaceted and centered around delivering exceptional customer service while empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals outlined in their NDIS plans.

This involves working independently to provide the right level of assistance, promoting independence, community involvement, skill development, career advancement, and fostering meaningful relationships.

In this capacity, you will be responsible for attending to the needs of clients, collaborating effectively with their families, and providing support to enhance their overall well-being.

Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all activities, including progress notes, is also an essential aspect of this role.

Adhering to the NDIS Code of Conduct is paramount in ensuring the highest standards of practice are maintained.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience working with people with developmental disabilities: 1 year (mandatory)
  • Fluent English language skills (mandatory)
  • Driver's License (mandatory)
  • First Aid Certification and CPR (mandatory)
  • Victoria Workers Screening Check (mandatory)
  • National Police Certificate (mandatory)
  • Australia Work Authorisation (mandatory)
  • Ability to commute to Melbourne Northern Suburbs, VIC (mandatory)
