Platinum Pacific Partners is currently working with a leading Private Equity firm in the search for a Financial Controller. The firm possesses a diverse suite of portfolio companies and has been actively involved as founders, senior executives, investors, and advisers in leading early stage and growth companies.

This is an exciting opportunity for a CA/CPA qualified accountant to join a high growth, high performing business. As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for finance, supporting deal teams with transactions, compliance, and investor relations management for all private equity funds and co-investments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain financial models in Excel
  • Support transactions and valuations analysis
  • Oversight of fund accounting and financial statements
  • Financial planning and analysis
  • Liaise with auditors and tax agents
  • Manage management fees and performance fees calculations
  • Support private equity investment teams and advisers on investment acquisitions
  • Manage investor relations for private equity funds
  • Quarterly investor reporting

Requirements:

  • CA or CPA qualification
  • Circa 7 years' experience in senior finance positions
  • Previous experience within a fund's management environment
  • Private Equity or Venture Capital experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to engage with staff at all levels and exercise sound judgement
