We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Services Clerk to join our team at Port Pirie Health Service within the Yorke & Northern LHN. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for handling the provisional registration of all inpatients, both planned and unplanned, and delivering a high-quality, confidential, and customer-focused administrative service to clients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive support for all clients either by personal presentation or via telephone.
  • Undertake accurate and timely, efficient professional administrative services.
  • Locate staff through paging and public address systems during both routine and emergency situations.
About You
  • Strong communicator with effective verbal and written skills for interacting with a diverse range of clients and professionals.
  • Excellent customer service, administrative and clerical support, including a helpful approach in challenging situations.
  • Proficient in computer use, use of Microsoft applications - word processing, developing spreadsheets and data entry.
  • Committed to upholding confidentiality and adhering to health service policies.
