About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join the Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network (RMCLHN) as part of the Early Career Program. The successful candidate will work as a Rural Generalist, contributing to the delivery of a comprehensive and integrated range of health services to the local community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as a member of a multi-professional team to provide services to sectors such as paediatrics, acute, residential care, aged & community consumers.
  • Utilise a combination of preventative, early intervention, treatment/therapy and evaluation approaches to achieve optimal health outcomes.
  • Provide services to regional hospitals and outpatient clinics, rehabilitation and aged care services, and Child Health And Development (CHAD) and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) services.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

  • Hold a recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Be eligible for practicing membership of the relevant Professional Association
  • Have graduated within the past 12 months or be completing studies in 2024
  • Be eligible to register as an Occupational Therapist in early 2025
