Job Overview

This position plays a key role in developing and maintaining efficient data pipelines, ensuring the smooth operation of our company's systems. The successful candidate will have expertise in big data technologies and frameworks, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient data pipelines to meet business needs
  • Recommend ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality through optimal data pipeline architecture
  • Assemble complex data sets that meet functional and technical business requirements
  • Develop and fine-tune data processing workflows utilizing big data technologies and frameworks
  • Build and execute complex SQL queries for database operations and data manipulation
  • Identify and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimising data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability and data discovery and onboarding
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years' experience in SQL, CI/CD pipelines, data integration, and data delivery
  • Experience with data engineering, ETL, data modeling, and design
  • Qlik Talend/QDI, Snowflake, MS SQL Server, Pentaho PDI
