Compassionate Home Support Worker

Right at Home provides in-home aged care and disability support services, enabling people to live independently.

The Role:

This position involves providing person-centred care and support by travelling between clients' homes, assisting with daily living and lifestyle requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Domestic Assistance: light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  2. Social Support/Transportation: social activities, shopping/groceries, and travelling to medical appointments
  3. Aid Support: assisting customers in the use of aids, including standing or walking frames and wheelchairs
  4. Wellness Monitoring: monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
  5. Team Participation: participating in staff meetings and attending training as required
  6. Supervision: performing work under the supervision of the Care Coordinator
  7. Work Schedule: services are generally between 6am-6pm Monday to Friday
Requirements:
  1. Australian Federal Police Clearance
  2. Current CPR/First Aid Certificate
  3. NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  4. Current Australian Driver's Licence
  5. Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  6. Smartphone with internet access
