After School Coding Instructor

Are you passionate about inspiring young minds to learn coding skills? We're seeking an enthusiastic and tech-savvy individual to join our team as an After School Coding Instructor.

About the Role:

  • Deliver and facilitate engaging lesson plans to a class of primary-aged students each week.
  • Set up and pack away equipment provided by us.
  • Engage with students in a fun and safe way inside and outside the classroom.
  • Stay in touch with our Head Office via Slack for any questions or concerns.
  • Complete online staff training prior to your first session.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Has experience working with children aged 5-12, ideally in a teaching or educational setting.
  • Is comfortable using technology in creative ways and can troubleshoot issues.
  • Has basic coding knowledge, preferably drag-and-drop/block coding.
  • Can confidently deliver lesson plans in a fun and engaging manner.
  • Possesses a mature outlook, common sense, and ability to identify and manage risk.
  • Speaks fluent conversational English.
  • Either holds or is willing to obtain an Employee Blue card immediately.
  • Owns or is willing to obtain a laptop with HDMI connectivity.
